We will introduce examples of how we have solved the functional characteristics challenges faced by our customers and cases adopted through VE proposals. Case 3: Direct Chromate for Zinc Die Casting (for rust prevention) ■ Automotive Parts Manufacturer Company A Due to the very strict dimensional tolerances of the zinc die casting (ZDC1) products, it was not possible to apply electro-zinc plating. We received an inquiry from a customer who was looking for a company that could achieve "no white rust formation after 50 hours in the JIS neutral salt spray test" using trivalent chromium-based direct chromate on zinc die casting. After evaluating our prototype of direct chromate, we cleared the "no white rust formation after 50 hours in the JIS neutral salt spray test" and proceeded to mass production.
